Anderson Entertainment is launching a Thunderbirds ‘Tracy Island Make’ competition to give fans young and old the opportunity to create something F.A.B during the global COVID-19 social distancing and lockdown measures. Inspired by the famous Blue Peter Thunderbirds Tracy Island Make of the 1990s and early 2000s, we want you to build and make your very own Tracy Island out of household items, materials, and rubbish.
You could win £250 of goodies from the Gerry Anderson Store, with prizes for five runners up too! Entries will be judged by Anderson Entertainment and special guest judge – Anthea Turner! Build your own Tracy Island and enter the competition throughout May. Winners will be announced in early June!

Judging Criteria
Our expert judges, including the legendary Anthea Turner, will be looking at the following criteria:
- Creativity – Did you take any creative steps away from the original plans to come up with a Tracy Island that was even more FAB than the original?
- Use of materials – what materials did you use? How effective were they in creating the final structure and look?
- Finish – Final paint or other effects, and how they come together to create the finished look.
- Age of maker(s) – make sure you let us know the ages of who made the Tracy Island
Please note that you can create a brand new Tracy Island, or new International Rescue base of any kind if you’d rather! We welcome creativity from makers and look forward to seeing every entry – from the classic Tracy Island look through to other creative solutions and designs.
