Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe Announce Development of Gerry Anderson's Hit Squad

Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe, Mr Morris Productions and Warner Bros. Animation are partnering with Anderson Entertainment to develop a new animated series based on an idea by Gerry Anderson himself!

Hit Squad, an unseen Gerry Anderson concept original devised in the 1980s, is being developed by Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe. Hit Squad will be developed as an adult animated series, blending practical and digital effects to revitalise an authentic Gerry Anderson concept for the 21st century. 

Hit Squad is an espionage action-comedy set in 1990's London and follows the daring adventures of an international team of talented spies hellbent on putting death before dishonour as they battle the murky world of underground villainy. Hit Squad was initially developed by Gerry Anderson in 1983 alongside production of Terrahawks. 

Gerry Anderson's son and Anderson Entertainment's managing director, Jamie Anderson, is serving as executive producer. Joining him are producer Russell McLean and director Darren Walsh, whose credits include Black Mirror, Angry Kid, Paddington, Bone, Lego City Adventures, and Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children.

McLean and Walsh are hugely excited to be bringing this Gerry Anderson creation to life!
