We've seen some confusion and speculation lately regarding the new format of the Gerry Anderson Podcast, which we addressed in a new article this week. From now on, the main new episode of the Podcast airs monthly; this month's airs tomorrow (June 29th) at 7pm over on the new Podcast YouTube channel, ending with a tease of the random Anderson episode that our guest is going to be watching. Two weeks later, the Randomiser segment is now a separate video, meaning that you don't have to wait an entire month before new Podcast material.
Plugging the gaps in between are a series of archive Podcast interviews, which this week included;
Ronnie Le Drew...
Maria Teresa Creasey...
and Genevieve Gaunt! So, to summarise once again,
1) New episodes of the Podcast (featuring the guest interview, news, and emails) now air once a month, without the Randomiser segment, and only on the new Podcast channel.
2) That month's new Randomiser segment now airs two weeks later, also on the new Podcast channel.
3) Archive interviews plug the gaps, provide a handy way to view both parts of an interview in a single video, and attract subscribers to the new channel - which you'll need to subscribe to to avoid missing the new episodes!
This week's free episode of Space Precinct is The Witness, and goes live at 6pm this evening on our YouTube channel!
Celebrating a birthday this week (June 23rd) was Space Precinct star Ted Shackelford, while popular Anderson episodes to receive their UK television premieres this week in years past include Fireball XL5's Space City Special (June 23rd 1963), Space Precinct's The Witness (June 24th 1995), Supercar's The Magic Carpet (June 24th 1961), Stingray's Aquanaut of the Year (June 27th 1965) and Terrahawks' Space Samurai (June 28th 1986).
