Thunderbirds is back on British television! The series starts today on Talking Pictures TV (Virgin 445, Freesat Channel 306, Freeview Channel 82, Youview Channel 82 or on Sky Channel Number 328) at 3PM with the show’s first episode, Trapped in the Sky. If you miss an episode, you have a week to view it online via Talking Pictures' catchup service Encore.
This week saw posthumous birthdays for Terrahawks' voice artist Windsor Davies (August 28th), UFO star George Sewell (August 31st) and Captain Scarlet himself Francis Matthews (September 2nd), while popular episodes that first aired in the UK this week in years past include Four Feather Falls’ Safe as Houses (September 1st 1960), The ProtectorsThinkback (September 1st 1972), and Space 1999’s Devil's Planet (September 1st 1977).
