Thunderbirds are Blasting Off to FAN EXPO Canada!

Calling all Canadian International Rescue agents! Gazelle Studios will be bringing their Thunderbirds puppets and props to this year's FAN EXPO Canada event as part of the Toronto Prop Expo showcase.

Scott, Tracy, Lady Penelope, Parker and Brains, along with Scott's TB1 cockpit, will be on display at the event. FAN EXPO Canada takes place between August 27th - 30th 2026 and is one of North America's largest popular culture events, featuring celebrity guests, comic artists, workshops and more from all your favourite sci-fi, fantasy, horror, anime and gaming worlds!

Husband and wife duo Justin T. Lee and Lindsay Lee will be showcasing their Thunderbirds puppets for fans to come along and experience. Visitors will have the chance of operating the puppets themselves! These authentically produced Supermarionation puppets have been featured in several modern Thunderbirds-related productions over the past decade, including Thunderbirds: The Anniversary Episodes and more recently the Lady Penelope and Parker minisode, Thunderbirds: Fabblebox

Justin, Lindsay and the members of International Rescue will be attending the event on Friday, August 28th, between 13:00 and 19:00. 

Justin and Lindsay are thrilled to be bringing a unique slice of Gerry Anderson history to Canada for fans to enjoy, with Justin explaining more: "Since filming The Anniversary Episodes in Slough back in 2015, Scott, Penny and Brains have mostly been hanging around in our apartment in Toronto, Canada. Over the years, we've had opportunities to display them here — at the OUF! puppetry festival in Montreal or Toronto Prop Expo — and it's always been amazing to see the reaction from people of all ages. Some have even teared up getting to perform Parker or move Scott's TB1 controls. It's exciting and humbling to be able to share that with fans, and we're looking forward to an F.A.B. afternoon at FAN EXPO Canada."
