On Boxing Day 2023, eleven years after Gerry’s death, Jamie addressed fans around the world. His message moved between the personal and the collective: a son remembering his dad, and a community continuing to find friendship, inspiration and adventure in the work.

Jamie thanked fans for their messages, visits to events, conversations and enthusiasm for the shows. Looking towards 2024, he described the Anderson worlds as being about the future, even though their origins lie in the past.
