The book is fantastic but the packaging is insufficient for international shipping. some corners of the book have been rounded off. a real shame

The UFO tech Manuel is just that, incredible; with detailed text, amazing illustrations, and excellent photographs. The history of S.H.A.D.O. and it's personnel is especially welcome and informative. This is a must-get purchase for any true fan.

This is a brilliant coffee-table sized book with all the lowdown about SHADO and their fight against the UFO aliens. The book featured all-new illustrations of all the SHADO vehicles, with technical breakdowns of their functions. It also featured an expanded view of SHADO Moonbase, including the underground garages and secret passages. The narrative addressed you as a new SHADO recruit, and you learned about the history and future development of SHADO facilities. The extensions to TV lore were excellent, such as defensive missile installations around Moonbase, or the specialist vehicle to transport any captured UFO. Small niggles included not mentioning the VTOL engine on the Interceptor, and explaining how Sky 1 can possibly work without any plumbing between the front air intake and the engines at the back of the rocket pods!
