We were sad to hear this week that Donald Pelmear, who played the estate agent in the UFO episode Confetti Check A-O.K., passed away on January 11th aged 100. Born in 1924 Donald was still acting & even attending fan events into his late nineties, with screen appearances in such shows as Public Eye, Special Branch, Van der Valk, Yes Minister, London's Burning, Little Britain & many more, including a memorable role in Doctor Who as Professor Rubeish in 1973's The Time Warrior. Our thoughts go out to all who knew him.
