This week's big announcement...Thunderbirds is coming to Blu-Ray in the UK later this year, in a new 60th anniversary set from Anderson Entertainment! The previous UK Blu-ray release in 2009 controversially cropped the series into 16:9, but for this new release all 32 episodes are back in their original 4:3 format, with the original mono soundtrack as default (plus the controversial 5.1 mix from the 2000s DVDs as an option). This release will also feature the three new Supermarionation episodes produced by Pod 4 Films/Century 21 Films in 2015 to mark the show's 50th anniversary - their first UK physical media release since the original Kickstarter Blu-Ray. You can register your interest in future updates on this set here.
