Dastardly master criminal the Hood is never far away from the action, either. Within these stories, he launches some of his most cunning and devastating attacks on Tracy Island, all enlivened by Frank Bellamy's majestic and dazzlingly innovative artwork.

Thunderbirds Comic Anthology Volume 2 is also packed with extensive features detailing the definitive story of Thunderbirds in comic strip form. In-depth investigations are made into the strip's ongoing publication history at a time of major upheaval for TV Century 21, culminating in its comic's ultimate end in September 1969. Further celebratory investigations are given to the classic Thunderbirds annuals published throughout the 1960s and 1970s, along with creator profiles of Frank Bellamy and scriptwriter Scott Goodall.
