Thunderbirds: Hidden Dangers is GO!

Following on from my previous post and my ‘origins’ idea; have you ever pondered for instance:
1/How Jeff Tracy and Brains first met?
2/What is Brain’s background/origin?
3/Who discovered Tracy island, and more to the point – who actually built/transformed it into the Thunderbirds base; likewise, who made Brains’ super-futuristic designs for the Thunderbirds craft into a reality, whilst keeping it  a secret forever? (an extremely large pay-out must have been involved, or did The Tracy brothers build it themselves?)
4/Tracy island is full of  Alpha – male testosterone, but where does all that testosterone go – where are the girlfriends? We only get small glances in the t.v. show of Alan’s blossoming romance with Tin-Tin; do they ever get married, eventually? Do the other Tracy brothers spend their spare time devoted to spiritual contemplation, rather than dating? My point/question is that the Tracy brothers private life could be featured in new stories to broaden/open up the playing field.Or maybe not.
5/We know a bit about Parker’s origin as a burglar and safecracker par excellence, but what about his aristocrat boss Lady Penelope’s story? It is documented that she is the daughter of Lord Hugh Creighton-Ward, and although raised in and to the manor born, she somehow  got involved with espionage  and the Tracys, but when and how? (they didn’t run that course at her fancy Swiss finishing school, that’s for sure).
6/ How  did Kyrano and Jeff Tracy meet?
7/ What’s the story behind Kyrano and his half-brother/Super-villain ‘The Hood’ ? It casts a whole different light on sibling-rivalry, and there is much there to explore.
8/ Did Gordon Tracy ever run into Troy Tempest and Stingray on his aquatic missions – if he didn’t, he should have (they are both made in the same mould and to the same scale)
9/Why is the Hood obsessed  with destroying/exposing Thunderbirds? ( it couldn’t have been due to some perceived slight, there just HAS to be a back-story there to explore). These ‘for starters’ questions may be taken/asked in a tongue-in-cheek, whimsical fashion, although they are mostly serious/straight in their foundation.As you can see, there are plenty of origin questions which the new Thunderbirds ‘Hidden Dangers’ concept  could  investigate/answer at some point – mine are just the icing on the cake. An origin story could be presented in its own comic/novel, or it could be integrated, along with a new story.
*I would like to clarify my comments about the new Thunderbirds stories in my previous post: Where I mention ‘stories before Thunderbirds are open for business’ I actually mean stories/adventures before  the  official t.v. ones, so they ARE already in business at that time.Thank you.

I’ve already signed up for this: comics, novels and audio books featuring new Thunderbirds adventures, YES PLEASE. That said, Thunderbirds for me is the Holy Grail of the Gerry Anderson universe (and it always will be) therefore I would place a caveat of some importance on any new product related to it (especially in terms of print media). I realise that new minds/artists will create fresh adventures and characters, but for it to work properly, I hope that any new offerings will display RESPECT for what has gone before; new adventures need to be rooted in the original Thunderbirds concept and infused with the spirit of 1965, while at the same time moving forward.Obviously, there also needs to be a continuity and empathy with that era, and the protagonists should behave/act in the manner of their earlier selves (even when on new/different adventures.)I believe from what has already been reported that this aspect has been noted, and adhered to.Personally, I would like to see a more in-depth study of each individual International Rescue member’s origin and also that of Tracy island.The original t.v. series did not really touch on this treasure-chest, and books and comics would be the perfect mediums to cover the concept, maybe revealing origin stories in the ‘Before Thunderbirds’ storylines.As a comics-collector of long-standing, I hope that the Thunderbirds comics will continue in the Frank Bellamy-style.Comics are VERY important to me,so I expect superb artwork (preferably in the style of Frank Bellamy) and rollicking good stories. It goes without saying that for this genre I would appreciate truly dynamic/colourful covers in the mode of Marvel/D.C. If I like the comics enough, I will definitely collect them. Featuring stories from before Thunderbirds opened for business is a good idea, as well as ones taking place in between the original television episodes.In this section, continuity with the past is paramount .Stories taking place after the classic Thunderbirds episodes would presumably offer the most opportunity for new ideas/characters/craft etc. It’s alright though Anderson Entertainment, no pressure! Ha ha.
