This September, something very special is coming. We’ve joined forces with the Museum of Brands to celebrate the legacy of Gerry Anderson and mark two major milestones: 60 years of Thunderbirds and 50 years of Space: 1999.
Our carefully curated exhibition “Thunderbirds and Space: 1999 – A Celebration of Sci-Fi Toys and Collectables”, opens on 13 September 2025, Breakaway Day.
This immersive exhibition showcases the cultural impact of Gerry Anderson’s extraordinary universe. Discover over 300 rare and remarkable items, from classic toys and games to rare memorabilia from Thunderbirds, Space: 1999, Captain Scarlet, UFO, Stingray, Supercar, and more.
Curated in collaboration with Malcolm Garrett, MBE, acclaimed designer and lifelong Thunderbirds fan, the exhibition draws on the incredible Robert Opie collection and passionate private collectors.
Whether you're a lifelong Anderson enthusiast, a pop culture aficionado, or discovering these worlds for the first time, this is your chance to step into the world of bold sci-fi storytelling and groundbreaking visual design.
