This week in Gerry Anderson news! - The Gerry Anderson Store

This week we launched a new competition on our Facebook and Twitter pages, in which one lucky fan can win our upcoming Thunderbird 4 model and four runners-up will get a £30 voucher for the Official Gerry Anderson Store! You can enter the competition here.

With the launch of our Space: 1999 Super Space Theatre collection drawing ever closer, this week we uploaded the trailer and bumper card for 1983's Cosmic Princess!

This week's free episode of Terrahawks on our YouTube channel was Operation S.A.S.!

Captain Scarlet Day 2025 was this week (July 10th, in honour of writer Tony Barwick who slipped his own July 10th birthdate into multiple episodes of the series) and to celebrate we posted a new article examining which incarnation of the series told the better version of the War of Nerves!

Also on Captain Scarlet Day, we teased the contents of the yet-to-be-announced third volume of our Super Space Theatre Blu-ray range! Based on this image of a mysterious space pyramid, any ideas what SST volume 3 might contain?

This week's archive interviews on the NEW Gerry Anderson Podcast YouTube channel included UFO actress Georgina Moon...

...the Radio Times' Mark Braxton...

and stunt performer and Space Precinct guest Kiran Shah!

Once again, remember that the Gerry Anderson Podcast now has ITS OWN YOUTUBE CHANNEL and new FORTNIGHTLY episodes are ONLY being uploaded TO THE NEW PODCAST YOUTUBE CHANNEL, alongside these archive episodes.

Why upload these archive episodes? Firstly, they offer a chance to see both halves of an old interview in one single video (which we thought people might appreciate, especially people who hadn't already seen them or might only be interested in the interviews) and secondly they help to grow the new channel's audience - AND THUS HELP US TO CONTINUE TO PRODUCE THE PODCAST.

This week we continued our series of articles looking at the artists of the TV Century 21 comic with one of the greats; Mike Noble!

This week's free episode of Space Precinct is Friends, which goes live on our YouTube channel at 6pm UK time this evening!

This week we remembered Supermarionation voice artist David Graham on the centenary of his birth (July 11th 1925), as well as Doppelganger/Journey to the Far Side of the Sun star Patrick Wymark (born July 11th 1926), while popular Anderson episodes to receive their UK television premieres this week in years gone by include Four Feather Falls' The Ma Jones Story (July 7th 1960), Space Precinct's Friends (July 8th 1995), The Protectors' 2000ft to Die (July 7th 1972), Supercar's The Magic Carpet (July 9th 1961) and Terrahawks' Operation Zero (July 12th 1986).
