New Thunderbirds Documentary Launches on ITVX

Calling all International Rescue agents! Anderson Entertainment and Take The Shot Films are proud to present a brand new Thunderbirds documentary made to celebrate the series' 60th anniversary - Thunderbirds: FAB at 60, which is available to view on ITVX.

This 90-minute documentary celebrates the enduring legacy of Gerry and Sylvia Anderson's seminal 1965 Supermarionation TV series. The documentary features a host of celebrity fans of the series, from film-makers to composers, scriptwriters, producers and beyond. These include John Logan (Gladiator, Skyfall, Spectre), J. Michael Straczynski (Babylon 5, Sense8), Joe Kramer (Jack Reacher, Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation), Richard Taylor (Blade Runner 2049, King Kong, Lord of the Rings), Jonathan Ross, Nicola Bryant, Sophie Aldred, Richard Holliss, and Sanjeev Bhaskar. 

Thunderbirds: FAB at 60 also features interviews with contributors to many modern incarnations of Thunderbirds, including Jon Culshaw, Genevieve Gaunt, Wayne Forester, Dominic Colenso, Justin T. Lee and Lindsay Lee, as well as Gerry's son, Jamie Anderson, and Sylvia and Gerry's daughter, Dee Anderson.

The documentary charts Thunderbirds' beginnings to its immense global impact, celebrating the series' optimistic, selfless heroism and fantastic rescue adventure. Thunderbirds: FAB at 60 uplifts the technological ingenuity, character-driven drama, and imaginative disaster scope of what many regard as Gerry and Sylvia's greatest television series.
