Following a sell-out show during the Southend film festival, Gerry Anderson super-fan Mark Joseph will once again entertain Anderson fans with another evening showcasing some of the very best shows from the awesome imagination of this legendary producer on 17th November 2015.
Viewing these episodes on 16mm format brings back memories of how they used to be shown on TV and with the added advantage in full screen format. Certainly in the case of Thunderbirds with the DVD and Blu-ray releases being cropped. We will even through in the occasional scratch or spice J
It is becoming very rare to be able to share this experience with fellow fans. The first evening proved to be very popular and memorable.
To start the evening we will have a very special digital presentation celebrating 50 years of Thunderbirds.
We will continue with an episode from The Protectors “Blockbuster”.
Then with “Crater 101” from the indestructible Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons.
After a break the second half will open with “The Responsibility Seat” from UFO.
We end with the ever famous Thunderbirds, in the stirring edge-of-the-seat drama “City of Fire”.
All the episodes will be presented on 16mm film and on the big screen!
Curtesy of Dan Cooper and James Winch replica and original puppets / model craft will also be on show from Thunderbirds, UFO, and Space 1999. Their generosity is most appreciated and helps to make the event extra special.
So do join us for a virtually indestructible evening just as FABtastic as the last!
Doors open 6.30pm with the showing beginning at 7pm.
