Terrhawks Record Store Day Release Announced

A limited-edition Terrahawks Record Store Day release has been announced! The fluorescent orange vinyl release includes extended opening and closing themes from the original 1983 Gerry Anderson series, together with a full-cast audio drama story ‘Into the Breach’.

With cover artwork by Chris Thompson, this is the first time these extended opening and closing tracks have been available on vinyl since the mid-1980s.

Record Store Day 2020 will take place on Saturday 18th April 2020.

Record Store Day is the one day of the year when over 200 independent record shops all across the UK come together to celebrate their unique culture. Special vinyl releases are made exclusively for the day and many shops and cities host artist performances and events to mark the occasion. Thousands more shops celebrate the day around the globe in what’s become one of the biggest annual events on the music calendar.

The Terrahawks Record Store Day release will only be available from record stores on 18th April 2020 (the year of Zelda’s invasion in the original series).

The news follows today’s announcement that an original 1980s Bandai Spacehawk was launched on a rocket by Raptor Aerospace.
