The Day After Tomorrow – coming soon to Blu-ray!

Anderson Entertainment are delighted to announce that Gerry Anderson’s 1975 pilot film The Day After Tomorrow will soon be released on Blu-ray!

Also known as Into Infinity, this 55 minute special was first broadcast on NBC in December 1975, and then the BBC in 1976. Starring Nick Tate, Brian Blessed, Joanna Dunham, Katharine Levy and Martin Lev, it told the story of the crew of the lightship Altares – and their attempts to return to Earth after a disastrous accident with the ship’s photon drive hurled them into uncharted space! The original film elements for the special are sadly lost, but The Day After Tomorrow has now been given a new lease of life thanks to an AI upscale.

Katharine Levy and Brian Blessed reunite to discuss The Day After Tomorrow!

Included with the Blu-ray release is a selection of exciting special features, including a new making of documentary featuring cast members Nick Tate, Brian Blessed and Katharine Levy, a video and audio commentary with Brian Blessed and Katharine Levy, and a feature on the music of the special including an archive interview with composer Derek Wadsworth.

More details, including price and release date, coming soon – so stay alert for a signal from Delta Beacon!
