Attention Earth scum! It’s time for the latest Gerry Anderson news roundup!

This week’s edition of the Gerry Anderson Podcast launched on Sunday evening, and featured the second part of an interview with Space Precinct guest actress Natalie Roles! If you prefer to stick with traditional audio-only rather than our new and improved video format you can still catch it (and all other previous episodes) every week either through our website or via your podcast platform of choice.

Also new this week over on the Gerry Anderson Randomiser Podcast (also available on all podcast platforms) Captain Scarlet returned to the Moon to destroy the Mysteron complex in the episode Crater 101!

Stingray turned sixty last week (October the 4th), and we pulled out all the stops to celebrate! In case you missed any of it, here’s a roundup of everything that happened!

We continued our countdown of Stingray’s top 10 episodes this week with the encroaching threat of… Pink Ice?! This strange, unstoppable substance begins to ensnare itself around the world, giving the WASPs their greatest challenge yet!

The latest instalment of Marine Minutes, part of our 60th anniversary Stingray saga Deadly Uprising, also premiered this week, as X-20 detects unusual signals emanating from the ruined Starfish City in the yellow sea. Keen to find favour with Titan, he reports the findings to his master, who departs in his flagship to add the surviving Solarstar to his alliance – but will he succeed?

Thursday was Terrahawks Day – 10/10! – which also coincided with Thunderbirds Thursday, so this week’s TT article counted down five ways that Thunderbirds influenced Terrahawks!

As you will no doubt already be aware, long time Anderson collaborator David Graham sadly passed away on 20th September 2024 – and this week we honoured his life in his own words. David was interviewed for a documentary about Gerry Anderson in the 90s, and in this new video he tells some of the fun anecdotes from across his career working with Gerry.

October 10th marked the 101st anniversary of the 1923 birth of Four Feather Falls and Terrahawks voice artist Nicholas Parsons, while popular Anderson episodes that first aired this week in years gone by include Captain Scarlet‘s Winged Assassin (October 6th 1967), Joe 90‘s Most Special Astronaut (October 6th 1968) ThunderbirdsPit of Peril (October 7th 1965), UFO‘s Conflict, E.S.P. and The Sound of Silence (September 30th 1970), TerrahawksExpect the Unexpected (October 8th 1983), New Captain Scarlet‘s Proteus (October 8th 2005) ThunderbirdsPath of Destruction (October 9th 1966), Space:1999‘s Voyager’s Return (October 9th 1975) and New Adam New Eve (October 9th 1976), and Stingray‘s Emergency Marineville (October 11th 1964).

That’s enough of that, you gurgling gonks! Get out of my sight – until next Saturday!
