Here is the latest Gerry Anderson news roundup; if you do not read it, you are the big toe of a camel’s left foot!

This week’s edition of the Gerry Anderson Podcast launched on Sunday evening, and featured the second part of an interview with author James Swallow, in which he talks about his upcoming novels UFO: Shadow Play and Space:1999: The Armageddon Engine! If you prefer to stick with traditional audio-only rather than our new and improved video format you can still catch it (and all other previous episodes) every week either through our website or via your podcast platform of choice.

Also new this week over on the Gerry Anderson Randomiser Podcast (also available on all podcast platforms) Sheriff Tex Tucker devised a cunning plan to deal with some Land Grabbers in Four Feather Falls!

On Tuesday we pitted the first episodes of Fireball XL5 and Stingray against each other, in another installment of our Pilots in Parallel series! Which episode prevailed? Read the article here to find out!

This week’s Thunderbirds Thursday article looked back to the Super Space Theater compilations of the 1980s, and imagined other potential ‘movies’ that could have been created from two episodes of Thunderbirds!

This week’s big merchandise launch was this beautiful model of the new VIP Eagle from the first episode of Space:1999! It’s the latest in our premium collectibles range, following the Eagle transporter, Rescue Eagle and Thunderbird 2! You can read more about the model in a new article here, and for this launch weekend only save 20% off the regular price when you pre-order yours now from the Official Gerry Anderson Store!

If you fancy seeing the new VIP Eagle in action, we have a new unboxing video on our YouTube channel!

There’s just two weeks left until the Stand by for Action 2: Tunes of Danger concert on July 13th! Will you be joining us in Birmingham for an evening of Anderson music? Read this article to find out what you can expect from the event, and book your tickets here!

Want to win two VIP tickets to the concert complete with accommodation, spending money, premium seats, and exclusives? Enter our VIP package giveaway here!

Celebrating birthdays this week were Space Precinct star Ted Shackelford (June 23rd) and Terrahawks/New Captain Scarlet voice artist Jeremy Hitchen (June 29th), while popular Anderson episodes that first aired in the UK this week in years past include Fireball XL5‘s Space City Special (June 23rd 1963), Supercar‘s The Magic Carpet (June 24th 1961), Stingray‘s Aquanaut of the Year (June 27th 1965), and TerrahawksSpace Samurai (June 28th 1986).

I am a great big toe – and that was this week’s news roundup!
