This week in Gerry Anderson news! - The Gerry Anderson Store

Following last week's sad news about the passing of Space: 1999 actor Prentis Hancock, this week brought equally sad news about one of his co-stars; as announced on Facebook by his friend (and extra/stand-in on the series) Suzanne Heimer via Anton Phillips, actor Clifton Jones (who played Moonbase Alpha's computer specialist David Kano in 23 episodes of the show's first season) passed away in hospital on June 4th at the age of 87. Clifton's other screen appearances included roles in episodes of The Professionals, Softly Softly, The Persuaders!, 1990, Emergency Ward 10 and Star Trek The Next Generation to name a few. Our thoughts go out to all who knew him and we have a tribute article in the works.

We've had three archive interviews posted on the new Gerry Anderson Randomiser channel this week! This is your choice to enjoy both parts of a guest interview in one video, beginning with TV presenter Dallas Campbell!

Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe, Mr Morris Productions and Warner Bros. You can read more about it in a new article here!
