Based on the acclaimed Sixteen 12 tooling, this collectible captures the distinctive design and detailing of the Eagle while adding one instantly recognisable feature: its striking orange VIP pod.
Measuring approximately 5.5 inches (13 cm) in length, the model features a detachable pod and is similar in size to Master Replicas' popular Starship Library series. Despite its compact scale, the VIP Eagle makes an impressive display piece and is perfectly suited to collectors looking to build a fleet of the iconic spacecraft from Space: 1999.
The VIP Eagle plays a memorable role in the opening episode, Breakaway. After Commander Koenig discovers dangerous levels of magnetic activity surrounding the radioactive waste stored on the Moon, Commissioner Simmonds arrives at Moonbase Alpha aboard the VIP Eagle. When the attempt to disperse the waste goes catastrophically wrong, Alan Carter takes the Eagle into lunar orbit — witnessing the explosion that ultimately sends the Moon hurtling out of Earth’s orbit.
