Master Replicas presents the UFO S.H.A.D.O. Interceptor, a stunning die-cast recreation of one of the most distinctive vehicles from Gerry Anderson's groundbreaking live-action science-fiction series UFO.In Gerry Anderson’s UFO the interceptors were one-man fighters that were S.H.A.D.O.’s first line of defense against the alien UFOs. They were based on the moon and typically operated in groups of three. Each Interceptor carried a nuclear missile, which the three fighters fired simultaneously to create a wide area of destruction. They were designed to operate in space rather in the Earth’s atmosphere.The die-cast model measures 7” (18 cm) from top to stern, and is based on the acclaimed Sixteen 12 tooling.This is an art piece intended for display.
