The Official Gerry Anderson Store is excited to bring you a range of officially licensed Thunderbird model kits by manufacturer AIP. Here we have Thunderbird 3.
Piloted by astronaut Alan Tracy and co-pilot TinTin Kyrano, Thunderbird 3 is a vertically launched, reusable, single stage rocket. Used for space rescue missions as well as maintenance and crew relief of the space station Thunderbird 5.
Powered by chemical rockets for lift off and boost, an ion drive is used for space propulsion and to accelerate Thunderbird 3 to a top speed of 25,000 mph.

It's a lovely model I can't wait to build it. I'm planning to get the other Thunderbirds models in this range of model kits from the Anderson shop. The Anderson store people are brilliant.
