Captain Scarlet Super Space Theatre Blu-ray

For the first time, the classic Captain Scarlet compilation movies created for home video are brought together in one definitive high-definition Blu-ray box set—alongside an all-new feature-length Super Space Theatre presentation.

Following the success of Space: 1999 and Thunderbirds adaptations, ITC America transformed Gerry Anderson’s iconic Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons into cinematic feature presentations for the booming home video market of the 1980s. Now, these rare and much-loved movies have been painstakingly reconstructed from high-definition restorations of the original series, preserving every explosive confrontation, Spectrum pursuit and Mysteron threat in stunning detail.

This 3-disc collector’s set includes:

Captain Scarlet VS The Mysterons
Captain Scarlet Revenge of the Mysterons From Mars
Target: Captain Black! – a brand new Super Space Theatre movie created exclusively for this release

All feature presentations are presented in their original 4:3 fullscreen format, faithfully preserving the authentic viewing experience. The original compilation movies include a choice of original movie soundtracks or episodic audio, giving fans the option to experience these adventures exactly as remembered—or with the sound of the original television episodes. Also included are the original standard definition VHS versions, preserving the genuine home video experience for collectors and nostalgists alike.
